The Novalis Institute is a centre for outreach teachers training, in Wynberg, Cape Town.
Dodeca was commissioned to work with Architect Brian Johnson
(the President of the SA Institute of Architects, at the time), as project managers.
The building of 1200 square meters is very organic in form and required a special understanding of expressive architecture,
where the very structure reflects what the forces of nature are imposing on it.
The nature of the concrete casting was extremely complex and unconventional.
Innovative concepts and technical execution of the works resulted is a unique, awe-inspiring College,
which has led to many teachers inspiring children in South African School Nationwide.
